Electrochemical Dehydrogenative C(sp 2 )?H Amination

نویسندگان

چکیده

A transition-metal-free direct electrolytic C?H amination involving an electrochemically generated nitrenium ion intermediate has been developed. The electrosynthesis takes place in the absence of any organoiodine catalysts and is enabled by situ electrolyte. novel, efficient intramolecular intermolecular demonstrated using a simple reaction setup.

A large number of interesting combinatorial optimization problems like M3SAT, MC fall under the class of constraint satisfaction problems. Recent work by one of the authors [34] identifies a semidefinite programming relaxation that yields the optimal approximation ratio for every CSP, under the Unique Games Conjecture. In this work, we present an efficient rounding scheme that achieves th...

Cross-dehydrogenative coupling and oxidative-amination reactions of ethers and alcohols with aromatics and heteroaromatics

Cross-dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) is a process in which, typically, a C-C bond is formed at the expense of two C-H bonds, either catalyzed by metals or other organic compounds, or via uncatalyzed processes. In this perspective, we present various modes of C-H bond-activation at sp3 centers adjacent to ether oxygen atoms, followed by C-C bond formation with aromatic systems as well as with he...

Cobalt-catalysed site-selective intra- and intermolecular dehydrogenative amination of unactivated sp3 carbons

Cobalt-catalysed sp(2) C-H bond functionalization has attracted considerable attention in recent years because of the low cost of cobalt complexes and interesting modes of action in the process. In comparison, much less efforts have been devoted to the sp(3) carbons. Here we report the cobalt-catalysed site-selective dehydrogenative cyclization of aliphatic amides via a C-H bond functionalizati...

Radical Stability as a Guideline in C–H Amination Reactions

The stability of N-centered radicals and radical cations of potential relevance in C–H amidation reactions has been quantified using highly accurate theoretical methods. Combination with available C–H bond energies for substrate fragments allows for the prediction of reaction enthalpies in 1,5-hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) steps frequently encountered in reactions such as the Hoffman–Lçffler–Fre...

Ligand-Controlled, Tunable Silver-Catalyzed C–H Amination

The development of readily tunable and regioselective C-H functionalization reactions that operate solely through catalyst control remains a challenge in modern organic synthesis. Herein, we report that simple silver catalysts supported by common nitrogenated ligands can be used to tune a nitrene transfer reaction between two different types of C-H bonds. The results reported herein represent t...
